One of the 5 successful bid for Mayor of London’s programme to improve air quality, Marylebone High St sits in an area with some of the poorest air quality in London. Street Tree Ltd were excited to work with WSP and FM Conway on the creation of 11 Rain Gardens offering, space for new plants and trees to aid air quality as well as water attenuation.
Our role involved offering advice on suitable soils, installation methods and liaising with suppliers to deliver consistant quality across the 5 phases. We planted over 1500 plants 6 semi mature trees and imported over 160 tonnes of soils into the site.
