Christchurch Gardens – Westminster

In late 2018 Westminster City Council commissioned WSP & Reardonsmith Landscape Architects to develop the design proposals for the Public Realm Improvements on Christchurch Gardens, the main contractor appointed was FM Conway.

Street Tree were responsible for – sourcing and planting large specimen trees, provision of 750t of soils and installation of the 475m of permeable paving that runs throughout the site.

Works commenced in October 2019 and were completed September 2020, the overall cost of the scheme was £3.3Million

The extensive remodelling of the park provides open and inviting footpaths into and through the gardens, connecting to key routes in the surrounding urban area. New lawns and seating provide flexible open space and the extensive planting offer numerous places to sit and enjoy the gardens.
